September Foodie Pen Pal Reveal!

The Lean Green Bean

This is my second month of being a foodie pen pal and let me tell you how exciting it is to get a package of foodie goodies in the mail each month! One thing I was hoping I would get being that I still had yet to try it was powdered peanut butter. If you read my reveal from last month you’ll know I did get it and it was everything I thought it could be. Well I am one lucky gal because I got a totally different kind of powdered pb this time! Lovely Janetha (pronounced Janeeeeetha) from Meals and Moves sent me FitNutz pb with raspberry jam. Yep, raspberry jam already IN the pb. I tried some right away on some homemade bread and it was delish! I can definitely see having this for my afternoon snack on some Wasa 🙂

Also included in her a-maz-ing package was heirloom tomato jam. I have been IN LOVE with tomato jam since I first had it a couple of years ago and this particular one was probably the best I have ever tasted. It is a perfect balance of sweet and savory that proves without a doubt that the beautiful tomato really is a fruit. See how lovely it is spread on homemade bread? Just ignore my ugly nailpolish!

Janetha also sent me a fab sampling of different natural granolas. These are so tasty and surprisingly hearty. Made with natural ingredients and no added preservatives, I will definitely have to find me some of these for the next time I travel somewhere!

Now, alas, I must admit I have not yet tried the salsa but I’m really anxious to! I can see all the fire-roasted goodness through the jar. I’ll have to have the girls over for chips n salsa and margaritas!

I was so impressed with the care Janetha took to pick out these wonderful items –  Thanks, Janetha! You are the best 🙂
